For those who are unaware, Japan has experienced Earthquakes for the last couple of days (magnitude of 6.0, 6.2, and 7.0).

At least 32 people have died in the Kyushu earthquake, and according to the Kumamoto disaster office, an earthquake with the magnitude of 7.0 hit earlier today (April 16, 2016).

As someone who is translating Japanese novels, I feel like I must do something to help raise some relief funds. I have contacted the government asking if they are willing to match the donations ($0.50 to $1 for every $1) if it is collected within a set time frame, if not, I will immediately send all the collected donations to AAR Japan (Association for Aid and Relief, Japan). I expect to receive their reply in about 3 or so business days, hopefully less.

This is the first time that Japtem has ever asked for donations, so I would like to make it clear to the readers that none of the donated amount will go to Japtem. Since there are a lot of readers who are willing to pay to have translators release chapters at a faster rate, I sincerely hope that many will extend their help to people in need.

Under “Special instructions to seller,” type the name of the novel which you would like to read more of. Although I am quite swamp with work, I will try my best to release an extra chapter of that novel as thanks.

To those who decides to donate, you have my heartfelt gratitude, and for those who cannot afford to do so, I still want to express my appreciation for reading this post.
