I am sure many will be quite surprised to be reading this announcement.
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone for your concerns over my health issues. Although I have not fully recovered, the blood tests and doctor visits I have to take and attend have been reduced from three times a week to once every three months. This entire process took almost a year.
For those who would like to know what exactly happened, please ask me via discord. I try my best not to divulge in personal matters over the internet, I hope you understand.
That said, I had a mountain of files waiting for me when I went back to work (January 2017), and with tax season just around the corner (February 1, 2017, to April 30, 2017), work was seven days a week, sixteen hours a day, three to five hours of sleep. I apologize for the extreme lateness of this announcement.
Starting May 1st, 2017 until June 4th, 2017, I will have a month off.
Off-topic note: My grandparents arrived on April 30th, and my family will be taking them around the country, so (long) weekends are off-limits!
Common Sense of a Duke’s Daughter
If you have been keeping up with the latest news of Common Sense of a Duke’s Daughter, you have probably read JackFrost’s announcement that I will be continuing the translation of this novel.
Since last week, I have been receiving many emails, messages, and comments asking me to continue where I left off, so that is what I will be doing. I know many will not be happy with this decision and I respect your opinions. Because of that, I will try my hardest to catch up as soon as possible. There will be at least five releases a week, one chapter every weekday.
Side note: JackFrost agreed with my assumption that Duke’s Daughter will be concluding soon… Please refer to the last two pictures in Volume 4.
I am sorry to disappoint the readers of this novel, but until I catch up to the current chapter of Duke’s Daughter, I have not made any plans on translating this novel just yet. There will be further announcements. Until then, you can view the fanservice provided by this novel.
J-novel Club has finished translating Volume 1 and now started working on Volume 2 translations. As a result, Japtem will be removing the Volume 2 web novel translations.
Unlike how we removed the Arc 1 translations of Arifureta, we will be gradually removing 2 chapters a week to keep up with their pacing of releases. If you can, go support J-novel Club with their better quality translation of the series.
